For almost 30 years, Florence has been recognized as a center of excellence for training in the figurative arts. The city hosts countless academies, schools and small international ateliers, frequented by artists who come from all over the world with the sole purpose of learning and deepening classical painting and sculpture techniques.

The impact of this know-how on new generations of figurative artists is evident in the wide range of styles represented in works exhibited together for the first time in Corpo a Corpo, coordinated by Professor Carlo Sisi.
